New
year – new pictures - except for mine of course.
My
five children and two grandsons are truly the reason I do what I do. They are all unique individuals and, as I
tell them all the time, they keep me sane!
Shannon,
my eldest, and mother of my grandsons, Michael and Brian, is perhaps one of the
hardest working individuals I have ever known.
Love you, honey, but slow down and smell the roses! Thank you for being the treasure that you
are!
Heather,
could have been and still could be anything she could dream of – and her
talents are many! Her way with animals
has been her lifetime vocation. (That’s
a baby wallaby she is holding by the way.)
Love you, honey, keep being you!
Lacey,
my miracle survivor child, has been through more in her life than I could have
ever managed. Rock solid determination
to survive, stubborn as they come, and someone you should always want on your
side. Love you, honey, keep your
excellent judgment!
Lori,
my youngest daughter, with the most positive attitude I have ever seen! A ray of sunshine follows wherever she goes,
and seldom is she missing that smile!
Love you, honey, and keep that voracious appetite for everything!
Brett,
my only son, cheated too early of his father’s influence, but truly a marvel of
pride and joy, (that is a live, wild bird he is holding) has the ability to
mentally spar with me on a moment’s notice.
Love you, honey, write more this year!
Michael,
my eldest grandson, how can you ever know what it felt like to become a
grandmother for the first time? You
were beautiful then and still beautiful now, so, love you, honey, enjoy your
future!
Brian,
my youngest grandson, but growing up far too fast! You were born only yesterday, and here you are knocking on the
door of manhood! Love you, honey, and
never stop learning – that’s the secret to life!
