Chief Justice Roy Moore
God,
the Law and Chief Justice Roy Moore

It
seems that I am now residing in the state where perhaps one of the most
important battles between good and evil is about to be fought and finally
decided. It is important because if
this one goes the wrong way, America may not survive with any semblance of her
original heritage intact. It is a
critical battle, not just to the sovereignty of the state of Alabama, but also
to that of every citizen in every state.
For too long Americans have allowed the fear of offending others to
overshadow an original system of laws that made America a safe haven for all
religions, all philosophies, and all heritages – all, that is, except for the
very ones responsible for the design of that system.
Intelligence,
humility and a deep sense of spiritual individualism resides in the personage
of the Chief Justice of Alabama’s Supreme Court. What a unique and wonderful combination! Apparently, he possesses the same stuff that
made up the characters of so many of America’s Founders. The fools who would fight him on the basis
of either man’s law or God’s are the same ones who would see America chained to
a revised history, a deposed power status, and the worst tyrannical rule the
world has ever seen. Sound too
harsh? Believe it!
For
those who may not know, Chief Justice Roy Moore was ELECTED to his office by
the people of the state of Alabama after running for that office on the promise
of doing exactly what he did – and at his own expense, I might add. His election was not a squeaker – it was a
landslide. All those who tout democracy
as the backbone of our government should support his position – namely, to
uphold the Constitution of the state of Alabama.
“It’s
about whether or not we, as a state, can acknowledge God.” These are the words of the Chief
Justice.
From
my vantage point as a current resident of Alabama, I can tell you what the
number one complaint against Justice Moore and his battle to keep the monument
in place really is. I’ve heard it time
and again from average citizens, “enlightened” Christians and atheists alike,
that “no one is above the law” – meaning he should obey the ruling by the last
judge to remove the monument or else Alabama taxpayers would face stiff daily
fines. AHA!!!! Therein lies the real crux of the
matter. These silly fools are quibbling
over using their “hard-earned tax dollars to stand up for moral law! In the first place, how in the world we have
been diminished to the point that states can be fined by the federal government
over such as this I am at a loss to understand. Let me remind you once again just what I mean by “such as
this.”
“It’s about whether or not we, as a state, can
acknowledge God.”
Acknowledge. That does not mean that this man wants to turn
the rotunda of the Alabama Judicial Building into a temple of Christian
worship. It simply means that he
believes it is vitally important for the citizens of this state to remember the
origins of our moral law – as the Founders did in every freedom they forged
within the laws of this country. If we
expect justice to be done within the courthouses of America, we should at the
very least be able to define it! One
man’s relative “justice” is another man’s moral folly. That is precisely why there must be moral
absolutes in a just and peaceful society.
We have been slipping into a quagmire of unrest and dilemma
since the first attempts to wrest God from our laws, and it has only gotten
worse. Chief Justice Moore made a
pledge to “restore the moral foundation of law” when he was elected. He reiterated it when he installed the
famous monument that is causing all the clatter now. Click here to see this monument and read the inscriptions
on it. Then, decide for yourself if
this man has made himself a target of so many out of some sick, selfish motive
or political aspirations, (as some claim), or if he is merely a “right wing religious
nut” as others have charged, or finally, if perhaps he is among the best that
America has to offer right now. Our
last, best chance for good to conquer evil so that individual sovereignty can
once again put America back on the right path just might be staged right here
in the state that has been at the forefront of other battles in the past.

God and the law have had to take a back seat for far too
long to ridiculous man-made laws, unjust court rulings, frivolous accusations
of offence, and punishing government infringements. The path to liberty and happiness has been cluttered with stones
deliberately tossed from rock pile that used to be our rightful cultural
heritage. We tore down that proud
monument to our moral ideals with every poor choice we made to knuckle under to
evil. Separation of church and state, a
phrase often uttered by those who would separate man from his God, is enjoyed
in a country that allows churches, temples, synagogues and houses of worship
from every religion known to man to exist therein without fear of government
control. The famous “establishment
clause” from the U.S. Constitution does not mention this phrase. It simply restricts government from
establishing an official religion that must be followed by all. It was written by people who had known
genuine religious persecution – not by someone convinced they should never have
to hear a prayer in public or see a teacher wear a cross around her neck at
school.
Those who would be so offended by the mere mention of God
should certainly never accept monetary payment with His name boldly printed on
it. Their ancestors should have,
instead, stood to argue with our Founders about allowing any religious
reference to stain the pages of our founding documents, resound in the halls of
our first and subsequent congresses and courts, and cry quietly from the
bloodstained battlefields of our hard won liberty! They should have insisted that only man had the wisdom to create
a safe and lawful world with compassion hewn from tolerance and understanding
of all things good and evil alike. With
that kind of arrogance, one could manage to create a whole new country,
conceived in ignorance and dedicated to the proposition that all men are
gods - some with more power than
others.

Supreme Court decision near you - don’t miss it!
